Arsenal defender Arteta is prepared to sell

Jakub Kiwior, a defender for Arsenal in the Premier League, may depart the team less than a year after signing with the team after learning that manager Mikel Arteta will not obstruct a transfer to AC Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan has given Kiwior "priority" status prior to the January transfer window, and Arteta will not obstruct the player's path should he declare his intention to join the Serie A powerhouse.

Kiwior left Italian team Spezia to sign with Arsenal in January of last year.

But the Poland international has struggled to get minutes as first-choice center-backs William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue to solidify their developing combination.

The article also stated that AC Milan is open to the possibility of obtaining an initial loan agreement with a purchase obligation for the 23-year-old, but they would prefer a permanent transfer.

Kiwior joined the North London club and has since made a total of 19 appearances.

In midweek, Arsenal defeated Luton 4-3 in the Premier League, and he was substituted after 64 minutes.

Due to his lack of playing time at Arsenal, there have been rumors that he might leave during the next January transfer window.
